About Me
Liu Liyuan, a Vancouver-based artist and graduate of Beijing’s Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, specializes in figure and portrait painting. In 2012, she founded the Vancouver Visual Art Studio, mentoring students aspiring to enter prestigious art and design institutions worldwide. Liu’s work has garnered international recognition, with exhibitions and awards in Canada, the USA, France, Switzerland, and the UK. Notably, her pieces “Butterfly” and “Mask” won first prize at the French Circle Art Foundation’s International Art Competition, leading to her exclusive sponsorship for the 2023 International Art Exhibition in New York.
